University or College?

I’m considering pursuing a nursing program and recently talked to a friend in the U.S. about it. He suggested that I should opt for college instead of university, claiming that it’s a better environment with more focused teachers and a supportive community. He mentioned that in university, you often have to handle everything on your own, which can feel like a waste of money. His sister, who is graduating from a university in Australia, shares the same view. 😓
