What is it with math teachers

What’s the deal with math teachers? My math teacher is awesome, but they rarely explain things clearly. For example, instead of saying, “Here’s what a parametric equation is,” and then demonstrating the math, they just write down some numbers and say, “Alright, now we have a parametric equation.”

By that point, I’m lost because I don’t even know what it is they’re talking about!

Has anyone else experienced this?

  1. I totally understand your frustration! It can be really confusing when teachers dive straight into the math without providing the context or definitions. It’s like trying to read a book in a language you don’t fully understand. It might help to ask your teacher for clarification or to explain concepts before jumping into examples. You could also try looking up resources online for a clearer explanation, or even studying with classmates who might have a better grasp on the topic. You’re definitely not alone in feeling this way! Sometimes a little extra context can make all the difference in understanding.
