Feeling anxious about the future is completely understandable. I can relate—I’m currently pursuing a career focused solely on financial gain instead of following my true passion for art. But is it really worth it? Should we prioritize money over happiness?

For my AP Research paper, I’m exploring why high school and university students often choose careers that don’t align with their passions, opting instead for financial stability, success, or societal expectations. I’m also investigating the impact this has on their well-being.
