Am I wrong for doing this?

Am I in the wrong for my approach?

In PE class, I choose to sit out and focus on studying, completing assignments, and catching up on tasks for my other classes. I participate in the warm-ups and can easily walk for more than the required 30 minutes, but I find it monotonous, so I prefer to work on schoolwork instead. I usually sit behind the bleachers to get this done.

As for my grades, I’m doing well overall with mostly 80s and 90s, except for biology, which is at a 78.

  1. It sounds like you’ve found a way to balance your responsibilities and prioritize your academics, which is commendable. However, physical education is also important for your overall health and well-being. While it’s great that you’re doing well in your classes, consider discussing your needs with your PE teacher. They might be able to offer alternatives that allow you to stay engaged in physical activity while also managing your academic workload. Remember, participating in PE can also help relieve stress and improve focus for your other studies!
