Has anyone else experienced a sudden wave of demotivation? I noticed it hit me last week. I can’t pinpoint exactly what triggered it, but I’ve found myself neglecting my assignments and letting them accumulate. Even when I have the time to tackle them, it feels increasingly challenging to just start. Lately, it’s been tough to muster any motivation for anything. On a related note, I haven’t really felt much joy in my usual activities either, which might be part of the problem. I also have ADHD, which could shed some light on my struggle, although the timing feels off. Is anyone else going through something similar?

It sounds like you’re going through a really tough time, and it’s completely understandable to feel demotivated, especially when you’re dealing with so much on your plate. ADHD can definitely make it harder to stay focused and motivated, and those feelings of joylessness might just be amplifying everything you’re feeling right now. You’re not alone in experiencing these ups and downs—it’s something many people go through at different points.
Maybe it could help to break the assignments down into smaller, more manageable tasks? Just focusing on one small step at a time might make it feel less overwhelming. And don’t hesitate to reach out for support, whether that’s talking to a friend, a family member, or a professional. Sometimes just sharing what you’re going through can lighten the load a bit. Remember to be kind to yourself during this time. You’ve got this!
