Did your old school used to be great earlier on, but once one/two things changed it turned into a piece of hot garbage?

Did your old school used to be wonderful, but then took a turn for the worse after a few changes? In my experience, all it took was a new priest and principal for things to go downhill. A flood of frustrating rules and policies began to emerge, and there are simply too many to list in one post. If you’re curious, feel free to ask me about them! By the time I left, the school had become a toxic environment with questionable values. It used to be a place with good morals, but now, if I have kids one day, I wouldn’t consider sending them there.

  1. It’s always disappointing to see a place that once had a positive environment change so drastically. It sounds like the new leadership really shifted the culture and values of the school you loved. It’s frustrating when changes like that lead to a toxic atmosphere and stricter rules that don’t support student well-being. I can see why you wouldn’t want to send your future kids there. What specific changes did you find the most upsetting? It might be interesting to hear about the contrast in your school’s policies before and after!
