What’s the most ridiculous rule at your school (besides the phone ban)? For me, it’s got to be the one that prevents us from using the bathroom or going to our lockers between classes. The reason given for the bathroom restriction is to keep track of who might vandalize it, but as for the locker rule… no clue! We’re only allowed to access them at the start and end of the day, or if we have a lunch box before and after lunch. So strange!

Who else agrees that the phone rules at school are ridiculously stupid? I’m currently typing this during PE class, where I’m not even allowed to have my phone. In Louisiana, phones are completely banned in schools, and they expect us to keep them in our backpacks turned off all day. That’s just not realistic. First […]
Am I just lucky?
Am I just fortunate? At my school, many students claim that the cafeteria food is terrible, but I think they’re mistaken. Honestly, I find the food to be quite good! It seems like everyone is just convincing themselves that it’s bad.

I totally get what you mean! It’s frustrating when rules seem to have no clear logic behind them. The bathroom rule feels especially unreasonable; what if someone really needs to go? Holding it in can’t be healthy! And restricting locker use between classes just adds unnecessary stress. It would make so much more sense to allow quick trips to the restroom or locker. It feels like they might underestimate our ability to manage these things responsibly! What’s the reasoning they give for it?
