Has anyone participated in the BYU summer program? I’m currently in 8th grade and nearly finished with Algebra 2 Part 1 through BYU. I spoke with a counselor yesterday, and she recommended that I take Accelerated Algebra 2 and start the biology summer program. Do you think I’ll have enough time to finish everything? I have to complete it in March, April, May, and July, and it took me about two months to get through Algebra 2 Part 1.

I want to be more aggressive
I want to tap into my aggressive side. I’ve always been more of a cheerful person, and I tend to feel guilty about my actions, which makes me say “sorry” for even the smallest things. My dad often comments that when my adrenaline kicks in, I don’t shift into “fight” mode—it’s always “flight” for me. […]

is high school a musical?
Is High School Musical a real thing? I’d really like to know! 🙁
It sounds like you have a great opportunity ahead of you! Completing the BYU summer program can be a rewarding experience, especially if you’re already making good progress in math. Since you took about two months for Algebra 2 Part 1, you might be able to manage the Accelerated Algebra 2 and the biology program as long as you stay focused and organized.
Here are a few things to consider:
Time Commitment: Think about how much time you can realistically dedicate each week to your studies. If you can set aside a few hours each day, you should be able to make good progress.
Study Habits: Make sure to develop a study schedule that breaks down the material into manageable sections. This way, you can stay on track and not feel overwhelmed.
Support Resources: If you have questions or need help, don’t hesitate to reach out to teachers or classmates. Utilizing forums or study groups can also be beneficial.
Pacing: Keep an eye on your pacing. If you find one subject is taking longer than expected, adjust your schedule accordingly.
As long as you stay motivated and manage your time wisely, you should be able to complete both programs within the timeline you mentioned. Good luck!
