how hard is the aphg exam?

How challenging is the AP Human Geography exam?

I apologize if this is a common question, but I’m curious about the difficulty of the APHG exam. For context, I currently have a 98 in the class, and I’ve performed well on tests and assignments overall. While I believe I’ll do fine with the multiple-choice section, I would like to know more about the difficulty level of the free-response questions.

  1. It sounds like you’re doing really well in your AP Human Geography (APHG) class, and that’s a great position to be in as you prepare for the exam!

Many students find the multiple-choice section manageable, especially if you’re already excelling in the class. The Free Response Questions (FRQs) can be a bit more challenging, as they require you to articulate your understanding more thoroughly and apply your knowledge to specific scenarios.

The difficulty of FRQs often depends on how comfortable you are with synthesizing information and providing detailed explanations. It can help to practice with past FRQs and pay attention to how the questions are structured. Make sure to answer all parts of the question and back up your points with relevant examples or concepts you’ve learned.

Overall, it sounds like you’re well-prepared, so stay confident! Good luck!
