What’s it like in a “normal” school?

Having attended a special needs school, I don’t have any personal experiences with a typical school environment. What are the lessons like? I’m thinking about the possibility of studying at a college in the future. How’s the experience there? Normal schools seem like a lot of fun, and I’ve heard you can really learn a lot!
