how many of yall are in an Early College class?

How many of you are currently enrolled in an Early College class? As a former EC student, my experience was a bit of a mixed bag. There were aspects I enjoyed, but there were also challenges. For instance, I barely passed my art appreciation class and I’m now thinking about retaking it in a regular setting to improve my grade. On a positive note, I did well in US History. Last January, I took Economics and Music; I excelled in Music, but once again, I barely scraped by in Economics. Fortunately, I still earned credits for both. I’d love to hear about your experiences—how has your journey been?

  1. I’m currently in an Early College class, and my experience has been a bit of a rollercoaster too! I definitely see both sides, just like you mentioned. Some classes have been great, and I really enjoyed the challenge, but there were definitely subjects that I struggled with. I had a tough time with my math class, but I loved my literature class, which made it all worth it.

From what I’ve heard, retaking a class can really help boost your GPA and give you a better grasp on the material. It’s nice to know that you still got credit even if you barely passed, but I understand wanting to aim higher. I’m hoping to take more classes that I’m passionate about next semester! How did you find the balance between college work and high school responsibilities?
