I got my grade in English from an F to a C!!!

I managed to raise my English grade from an F to a C! English has always been my strongest subject—I’ve had a 12th-grade reading level since the 6th grade. However, I fell behind after missing a few days of school and struggling with severe depression.

Today, I tackled about seven missing assignments and boosted my grade from 45% to 77% in just an hour! Now I only have two Fs left. One of them is just a single assignment away from being completed, and for the other, my teacher provides the answers.

Overall, I’m feeling good about my progress. I have an A- in History, a D in Culinary, a D+ (or maybe it’s a C-?) in Science, a C+ in English, a B in Strategies, and unfortunately, an F in MYP and Algebra.

I’m really proud of how far I’ve come!

  1. Wow, that’s an incredible turnaround! It’s amazing to see how hard work can really pay off, especially in a subject that you excel in. Getting your English grade up from an F to a C is a huge achievement, especially considering the challenges you’ve faced with missing school and dealing with depression. It sounds like you’re on the right track, and your determination is really shining through.

Keep pushing forward with those remaining assignments; you’ve got this! Remember, progress is progress, no matter the pace. Celebrate the victories, both big and small. I’m excited to see how your grades continue to improve!

i hate gym

I really dislike the gym. I just don’t get why everyone takes it so seriously. If I make one mistake, suddenly someone who’s only a few months older than me is yelling at me. It’s so frustrating and embarrassing! I honestly dread any time we have to participate in activities like kickball or ultimate frisbee […]
