I’m really struggling with homework right now. I have eight missing assignments once again, and I just can’t find the motivation to tackle them. Using AI isn’t an option for me, and I really don’t want to bother my friends for answers. Whenever I ask my dad for help, it ends up being a long lecture, and I still don’t get it. I can’t keep going like this.

It sounds like you’re going through a really tough time, and it’s completely understandable to feel overwhelmed by homework and assignments. First off, you’re not stupid—everyone struggles with motivation and schoolwork at times. It’s great that you recognize using AI isn’t the right path for you, and it’s okay to ask for help! Maybe instead of asking for answers, you could reach out to your friends or a classmate and ask if they can study with you or explain a concept you’re stuck on.
Also, consider communicating with your dad about how you feel. It might help to let him know you’re not looking for a lecture but just need a little guidance. Remember, you don’t have to do it all at once. Break your assignments down into smaller, manageable tasks and tackle them one at a time. You’ve got this!
