I’m really struggling with schoolwork right now. I have a massive pile of assignments for my classes, and I just can’t seem to find the motivation to tackle them. It feels overwhelming, and I worry I’ll never be able to catch up and improve my grades in English and Earth and Space Science, both of which I actually enjoy. Unfortunately, I can’t focus at all; I can’t sit still, and I’m constantly getting distracted or wanting to do something fun. Honestly, the only thing that keeps me somewhat engaged is my fitness walking, but even that gets repetitive after a while.
I can’t help but feel frustrated with everything.
I’m really sorry to hear that you’re feeling this way. It’s completely normal to feel overwhelmed by schoolwork, especially when you enjoy the subjects but struggle to find the motivation. Have you tried breaking down your assignments into smaller, manageable chunks? That way, you might find it less daunting. Setting short, focused study sessions with breaks in between can also help.
Remember, it’s okay to take a break to do something fun or relaxing—it’s important to balance work and self-care. If you’re feeling really stuck, talking to a teacher or a friend about how you’re feeling might also be helpful. You’re not alone in this and it’s okay to ask for help. Hang in there!
