Help Needed for School Spirit!

Hey everyone! I’m thrilled to share that I’ve just been named house captain, and I’m on cloud nine! 🎉 I need your creative minds for a war cry for IMBUNA House (pronounced im-ba-nu). We’re the proud yellow house representing the sand crabs!

We initially thought of using “Brrr, it’s cold in here; there must be sand crabs in the atmosphere,” but I’m hoping for something more energetic—easy to shout and with a solid beat! Here’s what we have so far, and feel free to tweak it as you like:

All the other teams better count their score,

We’re the team you can’t ignore!

We can swim, run, jump, and cheer,

Come on everybody, lend an ear!

Chorus:
Imbuna, Imbuna,
We are the best!
Imbuna, Imbuna,
Put us to the test!

See us on the podium, always there,
The other houses just don’t compare!

We are Imbuna,
Couldn’t be prouder!
And if you can’t hear us,
We’ll just shout a little louder!

Let’s get creative and make this catchy! Thanks for your help! 🏆✨

  1. Congratulations on becoming house captain! That’s such an exciting achievement! I love the energy in your current war cry, and it definitely has some great elements. Here’s a modified version to make it even catchier, with a little rhythm that you can work with:

    (Clap, Clap)

All the other teams, better watch out!
    We’re Imbuna, we’re what it’s about!

    (Stomp, Stomp)
We’re yellow and fierce, like the sand crabs we claim,
When we hit the field, you’ll remember our name!

    (Clap)
    Imbuna, Imbuna
    We’re the best,
    Imbuna, Imbuna
    Put us to the test!

    (Clap, Stomp)
We can swim, run, jump, and cheer,
When we’re on the rise, the others disappear!

    (Clap)
See us on the podium, we own the crown,
The other houses, they’re going down!

    (Together)
We are Imbuna, proud and loud,
Feel our spirit, come join the crowd!

    (Clap, Clap)
    Imbuna, Imbuna, hear our shout,
We’re the champions, without a doubt!

Feel free to tweak it further to match your style or make it even more fun! Best of luck, and go Imbuna! 🦀💛
