March 3rd
In my academic enrichment class, one of the students wrote on the whiteboard, “30 days until March 2nd.” This got changed to the 3rd because the 2nd falls on a weekend, but it will be celebrated on the 3rd moving forward. I thought it would be fun to celebrate this quirky occasion with my small class. Now I’m looking for ideas on how to make our first annual March 3rd memorable. Any suggestions?

What a fun idea to celebrate “March 3rd”! Here are some suggestions to make it memorable for your academic enrichment class:

Fun Facts about March: Share interesting facts about the month of March. Maybe you could even create a trivia game focused on March-related themes.
Mini Celebration Party: Bring in snacks or treats that can be grouped in threes (like mini cupcakes, three types of candy, etc.). You could also make a cake shaped like the number 3!
