Math Teacher DOESNT TEACH!!!

Frustrated with My Math Teacher!

I’ve been struggling in my AP Precalc class, and it feels like my teacher isn’t explaining the material in a way that’s helpful for me. Math has always been a challenging subject for me, but lately, I’ve felt confused even about the most basic concepts. It’s not just me, though; a lot of my classmates have a C or lower, so I know I’m not alone in this.

With the school year coming to a close and my grade currently sitting at a low F, I realize I need to take matters into my own hands and find a way to study on my own.

If you have any recommendations for YouTube channels, websites, or AI resources that have helped you in math, I would really appreciate it. Thanks, and I hope you have a great day!

    Here are some recommendations:

    YouTube Channels:

    1. Khan Academy – This channel covers a wide range of math topics, including AP Precalculus. The videos are clear, and they often provide practice problems.
    2. PatrickJMT – Patrick explains math concepts in an easy-to-understand way, with a focus on solving problems and understanding the steps involved.
    3. 3Blue1Brown – If you’re looking for a more visual and conceptual understanding of math, this channel uses creative animations to explain complex concepts.

    Websites:

    1. Khan Academy (again) – In addition to videos, they have interactive exercises that allow you to practice what you’ve learned.
    2. Desmos – This online graphing calculator can help you visualize functions and understand transformations.
    3. Paul’s Online Math Notes – Offers notes and practice problems specifically for Precalculus as well as explanations of key concepts.

    AI Tools:

    1. Photomath – This app lets you take pictures of math problems and shows you the steps to solve them.
    2. Wolfram Alpha – It can solve equations and provide step-by-step solutions.
    3. ChatGPT – You can ask specific questions or concepts you’re struggling with, and I can help explain those in a way that might make them clearer.

Don’t hesitate to reach out for help from fellow classmates or seek out a tutor if you can. It’s great that you’re being proactive about your learning! Good luck, and keep pushing through; you’ve got this!

I hate this fucking school rule

I’m really not a fan of this school rule. I might come across as a bit dramatic, but I have to say something about the 15-minute rule.
