My 10th Grade Schedule

My 10th Grade Schedule

Hey everyone! I just wanted to share my schedule for my sophomore year and would love to hear your feedback or any suggestions for changes. I’ve also included my 9th-grade schedule for reference. Additionally, my school offers an AP Computer Science course, but I’m uncertain if I should take it since it would be my first computer science class. Any insights would be appreciated! Thanks!

  1. Hey there! It’s great to see you proactively seeking feedback on your schedule. Unfortunately, I can’t view the image you provided, but I can definitely offer some general advice based on your mention of the AP Computer Science class.

If you’re interested in computer science, taking the AP Computer Science class could be a valuable experience, even as a first-time student. Just keep in mind that AP classes are typically more rigorous and may require a solid commitment to keep up with the material. If you’re comfortable with challenging yourself and you have a passion for the subject, it might be worth considering.

That said, it’s also important to balance your schedule. If you have other demanding classes, you might want to think about your workload and stress levels. If you’re unsure, you could speak with your school counselor or a teacher to get their perspective based on your previous performance.

Also, consider any extracurricular activities or responsibilities you have outside of school—finding that balance is key!

Overall, trust your instincts and choose what feels right for you. Good luck with your sophomore year!

My parents don’t believe in extracurriculars

My parents don’t see the value in extracurricular activities. They believe that if I focus on studying hard and maintaining good grades, I’ll have no trouble getting into any college I want. I’ve tried explaining that it’s not that simple—colleges look for well-rounded candidates who engage in extracurriculars and achievements beyond academics. Instead of supporting […]
