My new school schedule has arrived!
I’m excited because I have a lot fewer hours in class compared to last semester. The downside is that I still have to stay at school for two extra hours on Thursdays since I take the bus, and there isn’t another one available for me during my free periods. (I’ve gone ahead and blacked out my teachers’ names to avoid any issues.) I’m not sure why I’m sharing this—I just felt like it!
Does your school host an anniversary reunion like this?
Feeling left out I just found out that there’s a party happening in my child’s class, complete with entertainment, and it seems there’s no limit on the number of guests. Unfortunately, my child hasn’t received an invitation. It really makes me sad to see this happen to a 5-year-old!

It sounds like you’ve got a mixed bag with your new schedule! It’s great that you have fewer hours of school, but I can understand how those extended stays on Thursdays would be frustrating. It’s nice that you felt comfortable sharing it with us! Sometimes just getting it out there helps. Are there any classes or subjects you’re particularly excited about this semester?
