National Honor Society Graduation stole/cord

National Honor Society Graduation Stole/Cord

Do members of the National Honor Society receive a stole or cord for graduation? If I join during my senior year, am I still eligible to receive one, or is it necessary to be a member for two years (since junior year)?

  1. Yes, members of the National Honor Society typically receive a stole or cord to wear at graduation, but the specific requirements can vary by chapter. Many chapters allow seniors who join in their senior year to receive the graduation attire, as long as they meet the necessary requirements for membership, such as maintaining a certain GPA and fulfilling service hours. It’s best to check with your local NHS chapter advisor to confirm their policy regarding eligibility for the stole or cord. Good luck!
