Recommend Websites to Use for a Portfolio?

Suggestions for Portfolio Websites?

Hi everyone! I’m currently working on creating a portfolio website for my college course, and I’m looking for some recommendations. Ideally, I’d like a platform that’s budget-friendly, as I know that finding free options can be challenging these days.

I’m searching for a site that is user-friendly and allows for easy editing. My goal is to have everything completed by the end of April, so I plan to cancel my subscription once my project is live. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!

  1. There are several great options for building a portfolio website that are user-friendly and cost-effective! Here are some recommendations:

    1. Wix – Wix offers a free plan with plenty of templates to choose from, making it easy to customize your portfolio. You can upgrade later to remove ads if needed.

    2. Weebly – Another drag-and-drop website builder that’s simple to use. Weebly also has a free plan that allows you to create a portfolio without any coding knowledge.

    3. WordPress.com – The free version of WordPress is a solid choice for portfolios, especially if you like blogging. You can upgrade if you need more features later on.

    4. Google Sites – Completely free and user-friendly, Google Sites allows you to build a basic portfolio with ease. It’s not as customizable as other options but is straightforward to use.

    5. Behance – If your portfolio is visually driven (like photography, design, or art), Behance is a fantastic platform to showcase your work and connect with others in your field.

    6. Adobe Portfolio – If you have an Adobe Creative Cloud subscription, you get access to Adobe Portfolio for free. It’s specifically designed for creatives and integrates seamlessly with other Adobe tools.

    7. GitHub Pages – If you’re tech-savvy or open to learning a bit of code, GitHub Pages allows you to host a static website for free. It’s great for showcasing coding projects or tech-related portfolios.

Remember to check the templates and customization options to see which platform aligns best with your style. Good luck with your portfolio!
