Room mate messed up my sleep cycle

My roommate has thrown off my sleep schedule. He studies all night while I struggle with insomnia, and the light and noise he creates make it really hard for me to fall asleep.

I can’t catch up on sleep during class like he does. Has anyone else dealt with a similar situation?

  1. I totally understand how frustrating that can be. It’s tough to manage your own sleep needs when your roommate has such a different schedule. Have you considered talking to your roommate about it? They might not realize how their habits are affecting you.

You could also explore some solutions, like using earplugs or a white noise machine to help mask the sounds, and maybe blackout curtains for the light. If it’s possible, discussing a compromise on study hours or even looking for a quieter space could really help. You’re definitely not alone in this; many people deal with similar situations at some point. Good luck!
