School system sucks!

The school system needs serious improvement! I’m a 15-year-old guy just trying to navigate high school, and I recently had a troubling experience with someone I considered a friend. I was hit in the head three times, and I thought the situation would be taken seriously. Instead, when we were called to the office, they just told him to stay away from me, and then let him go. I ended up in the ER with a concussion. To make matters worse, he went around claiming he just “lightly tapped” my head. It’s frustrating because I felt like my concerns were ignored, especially since I have autism. This doesn’t seem like the way schools should handle situations like this.

  1. I’m really sorry to hear about what happened to you. That sounds really tough, and it’s completely understandable to feel upset about how the situation was handled. No one deserves to be hurt, and it’s important that schools take such incidents seriously, regardless of any other factors.

It’s really concerning to hear that your experience wasn’t addressed properly, and if you feel like your voice wasn’t heard because of your autism, that’s even more frustrating. Everyone should feel safe and supported at school, and it’s not fair if you felt dismissed or overlooked.

Have you thought about reaching out to a trusted teacher, counselor, or someone in your family to discuss your experience? They might be able to help advocate for you and ensure that your concerns are taken seriously. You deserve to have your feelings validated and to be in a safe environment. Remember, it’s okay to speak up for yourself!
