Should I go to school tomorrow?
I’m feeling really unwell right now. I have a headache, I’m nauseous, and I had a fever yesterday. Last week, I went on a class trip, and nearly everyone got sick afterwards. When we returned to school on Monday, only three people, including the teacher, were present in my class. I’ve been home and still feel terrible, but I’m anxious about my attendance.
The new semester just started, meaning my missed hours reset to zero, but I’ve already been out for three days (that’s 27 hours!). It’s driving me crazy. I attend a private school in Germany where attendance is very important, and I really don’t want to rack up too many absences, especially if I end up getting sick again later this year.
I only have three classes tomorrow, which seems manageable, but I have to stay for five hours because I need to wait for the bus. I’m torn between going or staying home because I’m feeling so sick. It’s 11:55 PM, and I can’t sleep because everything hurts. I’m too exhausted to shower now, and my hair is a mess, but I won’t have time to fix it in the morning since I need to be at the bus station by 6:45. What should I do?
