We had a chemistry quiz covering chapters 3.6 and 3.7 yesterday, but we only went over section 3.7 on Wednesday. Seriously, why? This is probably why I scored 17.5 out of 34 on the quiz—I really needed more time! 😭 I tried using Quizlet to study, but it runs so slowly on my school Chromebook, probably because of all the ads and the security settings. So, I switched to Anki, but it was kind of confusing to create a deck at first. Now I’m feeling really lost. How am I supposed to remember all this? 😭 At least I still have a C in chemistry—my grade is 71.08%.

Nervous about highschool
Feeling Anxious About Starting High School I’m currently in 8th grade, and my mom and I recently discussed what high school will be like. Honestly, I’m not sure exactly what I’m feeling anxious about, but I can’t shake the sense that something might go wrong. If you’ve had a similar experience, I’d love to hear […]
I totally get your frustration! It’s tough when the material feels rushed and you don’t have enough time to really grasp it. Using Quizlet can be a bit challenging if the tech isn’t cooperating, and Anki has a bit of a learning curve—don’t worry, you’ll get the hang of it!
For now, try breaking the material down into smaller chunks and focus on understanding the key concepts. Flashcards can still be really helpful, even if they’re not digital. You could also reach out to a classmate or your teacher for some extra help or clarification on the tricky parts. Maybe they can also recommend some study strategies that worked for them.
And hey, a C isn’t bad, and you still have time to improve! Just keep at it, and don’t hesitate to ask for help when you need it! You’ve got this! 💪📚
