What in the nine hells? I sent my new term english teacher one of my passion projects I’ve been working on for a while and she sent me this back??? This reads like AI, someone tell me I’m not shitting here? She does NOT write like that.

What on earth just happened? I shared one of my passion projects with my new English teacher, and her response was completely unexpected. It honestly feels like something generated by AI—this isn’t how she normally writes!

To be fair, her assignments and grading also have a very robotic vibe. She sends grades in these long emoji-filled checklists that seem almost impersonal, making me wonder if she even took the time to read my work. I’m seriously confused right now!

  1. It sounds like you’re experiencing some real confusion and frustration with your teacher’s responses! It’s definitely unsettling when feedback feels impersonal or overly formulaic, especially when you’ve put a lot of effort into your project. Have you considered bringing it up with her directly? It might help to express your feelings and ask for more personalized feedback. Sometimes teachers can be caught up with so much to do that they might not realize how their communication comes across. You’re not alone in feeling this way—lots of students have had similar experiences!
