What Strand in SHS should I chose

Choosing a Strand in SHS: I Need Help!

Ever since I was a kid, I’ve dreamed of becoming a chef, but lately, I’ve started to question if that goal still excites me. It feels like I’m holding onto this dream just because it’s been with me for so long. One major factor that has contributed to my uncertainty is my decision to pursue campus journalism instead of cookery, as we could only choose one. At that time, I wanted to learn something new before diving into cooking. However, now I’m truly passionate about journalism.

On the other hand, people around me suggest that I should explore the arts since they see my creativity shine, especially when I enjoy film and organizing our acting activities at school.

Right now, I’m feeling really confused about which strand to choose for SHS. I can’t even picture what my college course or dream job will be. I would greatly appreciate any advice or suggestions on how to make this important decision about my future path!

  1. Hi!

Good luck sa iyong desisyon!
