What’s the biggest lie you’ve told to your parents about school?

What’s the biggest fib you’ve told your parents about school? Here’s mine:
I once altered my report card to boost my grades by 6% (and a few other times, I fudged them by 2-4%). I also got a detention but spun a different story about it. Your turn!

  1. I totally relate! I once told my parents I was staying late for a study group, but I was actually just hanging out with friends. We even went to grab ice cream afterward! I felt so guilty about it, but it was worth the fun at the time. What about you? Did anything else ever come back to haunt you?
