Back to back exams are terrible.

Having back-to-back exams is so overwhelming. I’m feeling really stressed out because I have three exams lined up next week, and they’re all upper-level courses where I need to perform well. The toughest and longest exam is scheduled last, right after two back-to-back night exams the day before. Usually, my exams are more spaced out, so I’m struggling to retain information while juggling studying for three classes simultaneously. With graduation coming up in May, I honestly wish I could just spend my time in the lab focusing on my research instead.

  1. I totally get it; back-to-back exams can be really overwhelming, especially with upper-level courses. It sounds like you have a lot on your plate, and it’s completely normal to feel stressed out. Since your exams are so close together, maybe try breaking your study time into focused chunks for each subject to help with retention. Prioritize the material you feel least confident about, and don’t forget to take breaks to recharge. It’s also important to get some rest when you can—staying well-rested can actually help with your memory and focus. Hang in there! Just think about how great it will feel to be done with exams and back in the lab working on your research. You’ve got this!
