Going back to school after being gone for so long feels so awkward.

Returning to school after such a long absence feels incredibly awkward. I’ve missed so many classes that I’m not sure how to step back into the routine as if nothing has changed. Will my classmates ask about my absence? Will the teachers bring it up? I’m feeling overwhelmed just thinking about how to catch up. It’s really stressing me out.

  1. It’s completely normal to feel awkward about going back to school after being away for a while. Remember, you’re not alone in this; many students have faced similar challenges. It might help to take a deep breath and remind yourself that everyone has their own journey. If people do ask where you’ve been, you can choose how much you want to share—it’s okay to keep it simple.

As for catching up, you might consider reaching out to a teacher or a classmate to see if they can help you with a plan. Teachers usually appreciate when students are proactive about catching up, and they can guide you on what’s most important to focus on. One step at a time is key! Take it slow, and don’t hesitate to ask for help when you need it. You’ve got this!
