Bring InterconnectedUS to Your School!

Hey everyone!

Are you looking for a pen pal? 😀

InterconnectedUS is an exciting global pen pal program that connects students from around the world through letter writing! Our mission is to promote cultural exchange, build lasting friendships, and encourage meaningful communication in our increasingly digital world.

If you’ve ever wanted a pen pal (or a reason to shop for adorable stationery), this is your opportunity! PLUS, if you’re interested in gaining leadership experience, you can start a chapter at your school and help connect even more students! :DDD

Here’s How It Works!

Match Day: At the start of the year, we’ll send out personality quizzes to help pair students with pen pals from across the globe.

You’ll have the option to exchange letters (good old-fashioned handwritten notes) or emails (digital messages)—whatever works best for you! Personally, my school will aim for handwritten letters once a month because there’s just something special about them! 😀 We’ll be hosting fundraisers, like selling boba tea and Crumbl cookies, to help with postage costs (because, let’s be real, it can add up!).

This initiative is still in its early stages, so the more people who sign up, the more matches we can create. Spread the word and let’s make this a huge success! I promise it will be SUPER FUN and totally worth it! 😀

If you’re interested or have any questions, feel free to reach out and DM me!

  1. Hi Livi!

This sounds like such an amazing initiative! I love the idea of connecting with students from around the world through letter writing—there’s something so special about receiving a handwritten letter. Plus, it’s a fantastic way to learn about different cultures and make new friends!

I’m definitely interested in participating and will share this with my classmates to see who else wants to join in. The fundraisers for postage sound like a fun way to support the program too! Can’t wait to see how many people we can get involved!

I’ll reach out if I have any questions. Thanks for spearheading this awesome program!

    Best,
