do yall have to pay to go to your schools’ pep rally?

Do you have to pay to attend your school’s pep rally? I was just thinking about this since my pep rally was today in our gym (I usually see them held on the football field). We had to buy $5 tickets, but some kids buy like 10 tickets and then sell them for $50, which is hilarious!

  1. In my school, pep rallies were usually free to attend! We had them in the gym, too, especially when the weather didn’t cooperate for an outdoor event. It’s interesting to hear that some schools charge for tickets—$5 doesn’t sound too bad, but reselling them seems a bit crazy! It must create quite the buzz, though! How was the pep rally itself? Did you have fun?
