Is anyone else struggling to stay on top of schoolwork while managing their job(s) just fine? I do have the time to complete my assignments, but for some inexplicable reason, I often choose not to. This semester has been especially tough because of it. I know that school should be my priority, yet I can’t quite figure out why I’m losing interest in the major I intentionally selected.

I totally understand where you’re coming from. It can be so frustrating to feel unmotivated about schoolwork, especially when you’re capable of keeping up with your job. Sometimes the pressure of school can feel overwhelming, even if it’s something we initially chose because we were passionate about it. It might help to find ways to reconnect with what drew you to your major in the first place or even to make your studies feel more relevant to your job. Setting small, achievable goals for schoolwork or mixing in some rewards can also boost motivation. You’re definitely not alone in this feeling! Have you talked to anyone about it, like a professor or advisor? Sometimes a little support can make a big difference!
