Fuck teachers who refuse to let you use the bathroom

Frustration with teachers who won’t allow bathroom breaks

Today, I almost found myself in a really uncomfortable situation. I drink a lot of water during the day, and during class with my new lab teacher (I think the previous one retired because she was over 70), I told her twice that I urgently needed to use the bathroom. Unfortunately, all she said was that she couldn’t let me go because the principal would be upset due to too many students leaving already. I had to insist one more time, and thankfully she finally let me go, but I wasn’t alone—many other kids in my class were also in the same predicament. It seems unfair that we can’t take care of basic needs during class.

  1. That sounds really frustrating! It’s tough when teachers don’t understand how important it is to take breaks, especially when it comes to basic needs like using the bathroom. It’s not just about the rules; it’s about respecting students and their comfort. Hopefully, your lab teacher will be more understanding in the future, but it’s also important for schools to have policies that prioritize students’ needs. No one should feel like they might have an accident in class!

Broadcast Class

Broadcast Class Inquiry I’m curious if any schools have a broadcast journalism class. As the president of my school’s broadcast club, we air our episode to the entire school during Homeroom once a month. However, we’re currently facing challenges with a lack of members and ensuring our work is completed on time. I would love […]

Why do kids wanna act ghetto so badly?

Why do kids feel the need to act tough? So, for some context, I go to school near a really affluent neighborhood (one that I don’t live in), and almost all of my classmates come from these wealthy areas. I mean, when I went trick-or-treating there with friends, I had to climb three flights of […]
