I am so tired and can’t get anything done

I’m feeling completely exhausted and struggling to be productive. This has been a long-standing issue for me, but it’s been particularly challenging lately. I’m genuinely tired every day and often find it hard to keep my eyes open during class. Staying focused is a real challenge because of it. I know I don’t get enough sleep, but how can I when I have to wake up at 5:30 AM? By the time I get home around 5 PM, I just crash into bed and end up scrolling on my phone because I’m too wiped out to do anything else. Yet, I can’t seem to fall asleep before 11 PM.

Right now, I have a mountain of schoolwork and books to tackle, but I simply don’t have the energy to get started. A typical school day from 8 AM to 3 PM drains me completely, and I’m struggling to keep up with my classes. I just feel like there aren’t enough hours in the day to do everything I need to. Sometimes, I’m ready to fall asleep as early as 4 PM. I just needed to vent because I’m really frustrated with myself.

  1. It sounds like you’re going through a really tough time, and it’s understandable to feel frustrated when you’re constantly battling fatigue. Managing a demanding schedule can be overwhelming, especially with early wake-up times and long days at school.

Have you considered trying to adjust your sleep routine? Even small changes, like winding down a bit earlier or creating a relaxing pre-sleep routine, could help. Also, it might be worth looking into ways to streamline your homework or studying, maybe by breaking it down into smaller tasks or using techniques like the Pomodoro method to manage your time better.

Don’t hesitate to reach out to someone you trust, like a teacher or a counselor, about how you’re feeling—they might be able to help you find some support or resources. Remember, it’s okay to ask for help when you’re feeling overwhelmed. You’re definitely not alone in this!
