I accidentally looked up something inappropriate on my school account while using my phone at home (not connected to school). I’m really worried. Just to add, I was using incognito mode.

Can someone help me?
Can anyone offer some advice? I’m 13 and in 8th grade, and unfortunately, my grades aren’t great. I haven’t really been learning much since 5th grade. It’s understandable to feel scared about something like this. First, try to stay calm. Just remember that using incognito mode generally doesn’t save your browsing history on that device, but it’s important to be cautious. If you’re worried that someone might find out, consider doing the following:
Clear your browser history and cache: If you haven’t already, you can clear your browsing data on your phone. This can help minimize the chances of someone accidentally discovering what you searched for.
Don’t panic: Remember that everyone makes mistakes or has moments of curiosity that they might not be proud of. It happens to many people.
Limit the worry: If it was a one-time incident, there’s a good chance it won’t come back to haunt you.
Talk to someone you trust: If you’re feeling really anxious, it might help to talk about it with a friend or an adult you trust. They can provide support and perspective.
Reflect on why you searched: Think about what led you to search for that content and consider discussing those feelings safely in the future, if they’re causing you concern.
Ultimately, remember that it’s a learning experience, and it’s okay to make mistakes. Focus on moving forward positively!
