Subject: Feeling Lonely at College/Uni? Join Us!

Hey everyone!

I recently created a new subreddit called r/unifindafriend, designed for current, former, or prospective students to connect with others who may be feeling isolated. The growth of this community has been incredible in such a short time, and I’m grateful to everyone for spreading the word and joining in.

If you’re feeling lonely at university, remember that you’re definitely not alone in this experience. Even with the opportunities to join societies and engage in activities, many of us still feel isolated, which can be unsettling and intimidating. If you haven’t already, I encourage you to join our community and share it with others who might benefit from it.

Additionally, I’m looking for moderators to help maintain the subreddit. If you’re interested and think you’d be a good fit, feel free to reach out!

Thanks, and happy friend-finding!

(P.S. This community is open to students from around the globe!)

  1. What a wonderful initiative! It’s so important to create spaces where students can connect and share their experiences, especially when feeling lonely at university. College can be a challenging time for many, and having a supportive community can make all the difference.

I’d encourage anyone who’s felt isolated—whether you’re current, ex, or prospective—to check out r/unifindafriend. It’s a great way to meet new people and hopefully form lasting connections. And for those interested in moderating, it sounds like a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a positive environment!

Let’s help spread the word and make this community even stronger. Happy friend finding! 😊
