I’m really struggling here, and my grades are all below 85, which is unusual for me since I’m typically an above 90 student. No matter how hard I work, my grades don’t improve; I can excel in coursework, but my overall average seems to drop.
I had four hours of driver’s ed after school, which has been mentally exhausting. While I initially faced difficulties, I’m back on track now, yet it feels so frustrating! I just got a 99 out of 100 on an assignment, and my grade still dropped from an 87 to an 84—what’s going on? I’ve been getting so many perfect scores in classwork, but my overall grade isn’t budging.
I feel like I’m losing my mind. Do people not realize how hard I’m trying to get everything back in order? I’m so overwhelmed and desperately need a break.
I’m really sorry to hear that you’re feeling this way. It sounds incredibly frustrating to put in so much effort and not see the results you expect. It’s completely normal to feel overwhelmed, especially with everything on your plate right now.
Sometimes grading systems can be really confusing, and it might help to talk to your teachers about how grades are calculated. They might be able to explain things in a way that makes more sense and could help you see where you can improve or if there are any adjustments that can be made.
Don’t forget to take care of yourself, too! It’s okay to take breaks and recharge when you need to. You’re doing your best, and that’s what matters. If you ever need someone to talk to or vent, I’m here for you!
