Is this a concerning situation?
I’m currently a sophomore with two honors classes and a 3.86 weighted GPA (which will be updated after this semester). I have some solid extracurricular activities and I’m looking to elevate my involvement even more. Next year, I’m planning to take all honors courses, along with hopefully 2-3 AP classes during my senior year. Do you think I’m on the right track? Additionally, I’ll be starting an internship next fall and I work two jobs.
It sounds like you’re doing really well! A 3.86 weighted GPA, especially with honors classes, is impressive for a sophomore. It’s great that you’re looking to challenge yourself further with more honors and AP classes in your junior and senior years. Balancing school with extracurriculars, an internship, and two jobs shows a strong work ethic and time management skills.
Just make sure you’re also taking care of yourself during this busy time. It’s important to find a balance that keeps you motivated and prevents burnout. If you’re passionate about your extracurriculars and feel excited about the classes you’re planning to take, you’re definitely on a good path. Keep up the great work, and don’t hesitate to reach out for guidance when you need it!
