Looking for good places to take Calculus 3 over the Summer

I’m searching for recommendations for good summer Calculus 3 courses. I’m located in Pennsylvania, approximately 1.5 hours from Philadelphia. If anyone in this subreddit knows of schools offering affordable in-person Calculus 3 classes for credit, I would really appreciate your suggestions. I’m also open to online course options, but in-person is my preference! Thank you!

  1. If you’re looking for good places to take Calculus 3 over the summer near Pennsylvania, here are a few options to consider:

    1. Local Universities and Community Colleges: Check out nearby institutions like Temple University, La Salle University, or even community colleges such as Montgomery County Community College. They often offer summer courses at affordable rates, and you might find in-person classes.

    2. University of Pennsylvania: Although it may be on the pricier side, UPenn often has an excellent reputation for its math courses. It might be worth inquiring about their summer offerings.

    3. Online Options: If you’re open to online courses, consider platforms like Coursera or edX which partner with universities to offer affordable courses. Some schools like MIT offer free online resources for Calculus, which could be a good supplement.

    4. West Chester University: They typically offer summer courses, and you might be able to find a good Calculus 3 class there.

    5. State Universities: Look into other state schools in Pennsylvania, such as Penn State or Kutztown University. They might offer summer sessions that are reasonably priced for residents.

Make sure to check the course schedule and prerequisites before enrolling, and consider reaching out to the admissions office for any advice on finding the right class. Good luck!
