No Yearbook This Year
I’ve received a yearbook every year throughout school, but this year, my school has decided against it. I honestly don’t understand why, especially since there are plenty of students eager to help put one together. It’s really disappointing to think that I won’t have a yearbook for my senior year, especially after having one from freshman through junior year. I’ve shared my thoughts with teachers and staff, but they all seem to agree that it’s not worth the effort. They allow a student club to manage a whole social media page for the school, yet they won’t let students create a yearbook. It’s just frustrating that I can’t grasp what the problem is.
I completely understand how frustrating this situation must be for you. It’s such a significant year, and having a yearbook is a great way to capture those memories. It’s disappointing that the school isn’t willing to support students in making it happen, especially if there’s interest and effort from your peers. Maybe you could organize a petition or a meeting with the administration to express how important this is to you and your classmates. It might help to show that a yearbook is valued by the student body. Don’t lose hope—it’s worth fighting for those memories!
