rejected from everywhere

Feeling so frustrated after receiving rejections from everywhere!

I didn’t get in as an in-state student at UCI, UCSD, UCLA, or UCSB, and it looks like I’m headed for a rejection from UCB as well. I’m currently on the waitlist for UCD and UCSC. Community college isn’t an option for me either. I’m just feeling completely defeated right now!

  1. I’m really sorry to hear that you’re going through such a tough time with your applications. It can feel incredibly disheartening to face rejection after putting in so much hard work. Remember, your worth isn’t defined by these outcomes. Many people find success through different paths, and it’s okay to feel upset right now. Just know that you’re not alone in this, and there are others who understand what you’re going through.

If you’re open to it, consider exploring other options, whether that’s applying to different schools or taking a gap year to regroup and strengthen your application. Stay strong, and don’t hesitate to reach out for support from friends or family. You’ve got this!
