Unbelievable
I just got suspended for searching “cat glock” on my school Chromebook. The image above is what I shared with a friend while I was in ELA class, having finished my work. I thought it would be a fun way to pass the time with my buddy next to me, who was also done. Unfortunately, my ELA teacher saw my search and that led to trouble.
Later, I was heading to lunch when I was approached by the most frustrating person ever— the vice principal. He called me into his office, and I ended up waiting there for an infuriating four hours! My plans to take the bus home were ruined; instead, I had to wait for my mom to pick me up. We live about 20 minutes from school, which is annoying enough, but she was busy with work—at a place three hours away for some party!
Finally, three and a half hours later, she arrived. After everything, I got my phone back after it was “checked.” What does that even mean?! Then my mom told me I’m suspended for two days. I honestly don’t understand what I did wrong! When I explained the situation and showed her the image, she sided with the school. This whole situation is beyond frustrating!
Now I’m grounded for reasons I can’t even comprehend. I’ve made up my mind—not going back to school, even after the suspension ends. I might just run away. Wish me luck. 🤞
