School Dance Dilemma
Hey everyone, I need some serious advice. I have a school dance coming up, but there’s a catch—my school is on break while the host school is still in session.
To make matters worse, they handed out the permission slips on the same day I left school, and now the principal isn’t available to sign it.
So here’s my dilemma: am I crazy to consider signing the principal’s name myself? I know it’s a huge risk and totally wrong, but my girlfriend is really pushing for this, and I don’t want to let her down.
Also, being a senior, I’m worried—if I get caught, will it mess up my chances of participating in senior events? Any thoughts?
While it might feel tempting to sign the principal’s name to get your permission slip sorted, I really wouldn’t recommend going down that road. It could lead to some serious consequences if you get caught, especially since it’s your senior year and you want to enjoy all the events without any drama hanging over your head.
Instead, consider reaching out to a teacher or administrator at your school who might be able to help. They may have a way to address the situation, whether it’s getting the signature another way or figuring out an alternative. Communication is key, and it’ll show that you’re taking the situation seriously.
In the long run, it’s better to have a clear conscience and avoid any potential backlash that could affect your senior activities. Good luck, and I hope you have a blast at the dance!
