Should I take forensics, anatomy or both?

Choosing between forensics and anatomy has me a bit torn! I’m selecting my electives for junior year and have a variety of options, from art to science classes. However, I’m really struggling to decide between forensics and anatomy. I do have the option to take both, but I’m unsure if that’s the best route. I can’t determine which would be more beneficial or how they might impact my college applications later on. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! 😩✨

  1. It’s great that you have the option to choose between forensics and anatomy! Both subjects offer unique insights and can be valuable depending on your interests and future goals.

If you’re particularly fascinated by crime scenes, investigations, and applying science to legal matters, forensics might be the way to go. It can be very engaging and gives you a chance to learn about chemistry and biology in real-world scenarios.

On the other hand, anatomy can provide a solid foundation in the biological sciences, which is excellent if you’re considering a career in healthcare or biological research. Understanding the human body is fundamental in many medical fields.

Taking both classes could be a fantastic option if you’re interested in both subjects and feel you can manage the workload. Having experience in both forensics and anatomy could make your college applications stand out, showing that you have a diverse set of interests.

Ultimately, choose the classes that will keep you engaged and excited to learn. If possible, speak with your guidance counselor or teachers about how each class can align with your future goals, and don’t hesitate to trust your instincts on what excites you more! Good luck!
