Is it true that you need to register just to ride the bus now? I was planning to take the bus for the first time in a while to visit a friend, but when I tried to board, the driver told me that I couldn’t unless my house was on that specific route. Apparently, this rule was introduced after COVID, but it seems really frustrating. Has anyone else experienced this? It’s strange that you have to “register” just to use the bus. I’ve also had moments where I needed to ride the bus home due to weather or my parents’ plans, and if I’d known about this, I would have been in a tough spot.

It sounds really frustrating to deal with those new bus regulations, especially when you’re just trying to hang out with friends. It’s understandable that they implemented some measures after COVID for safety, but it does seem odd that you need to register for a route when public transport is supposed to be accessible for everyone. Hopefully, this is something that gets addressed because it definitely complicates things for people who rely on the bus. Have you looked into alternative transportation options, or maybe seeing if there are any local community services that might help? It’s always good to explore other options just in case!
