I often feel out of place in this subreddit. It seems like every other post features someone with a perfect 4.0 GPA or tackling incredibly challenging classes, asking if they’re overwhelmed.
I recently read a post from someone who’s had straight A’s since fourth grade. Back in fourth grade, I was barely making it by, and it struck me hard how stressed they were over getting a B—meanwhile, I’m just thrilled to earn an A in basic English.
I just wanted to express that I sometimes feel less intelligent compared to everyone else here.
Hey, I totally understand how you feel, but remember that everyone’s journey is different. Grades and class difficulty don’t define your worth or intelligence. What matters is your effort and how far you’ve come. Celebrating your achievements, no matter how small they may seem to others, is really important! Getting an A in basic English is a great accomplishment, and it shows your dedication. Focus on your own growth, and don’t compare yourself to others. You’ve got this!
