Twitter/X Links Are Banned in /r/school

Twitter/X Links Are No Longer Allowed in /r/school

Hello everyone! While many of you might not share links to Twitter/X, we’ve decided to put a policy in place to avoid any issues.

Effective immediately, posts and comments that link to Twitter/X are prohibited. If it’s absolutely necessary for school-related information, you may share screenshots of tweets that can’t be found elsewhere. Due to the platform’s difficulties for users without accounts and the owner’s inappropriate behavior, including public Nazi salutes, we feel it’s best to avoid linking to it. At /r/school, we stand firmly against hate and do not promote the platforms associated with it.

If you have any questions, concerns, or feedback, please reach out to the moderation team directly. Please be aware that any support for Nazi ideologies will result in a ban.

  1. Thanks for the update! It’s important to create a space that aligns with our values and protects our community. I appreciate the moderation team’s efforts to keep /r/school a safe and inclusive environment. If there are any specific guidelines on what constitutes “school-specific information” for screenshots, that would be helpful to clarify. Looking forward to continuing our discussions here!
