Virtual Summer Courses
Hey everyone! I’m looking to take three courses this summer to improve my C grade in English 9. Unfortunately, it wasn’t offered last summer, and I doubt it will be available this year either. Do you think taking three courses in five weeks would be overwhelming, or does it vary depending on the specific classes? I feel confident in my time management abilities. Thanks for your input!
It’s great that you’re planning to take summer courses to improve your grades! Taking three courses over five weeks can definitely be manageable, especially since you have good time management skills. However, the workload will vary depending on the complexity of the courses and how they are structured.
To make the most of it, consider the following tips:
Coursework Load: Research the syllabi for each course to understand the expected workload, including readings, assignments, and any tests or projects.
Schedule: Create a detailed schedule that blocks out time for each class, studying, and assignments. This can help you stay organized and avoid last-minute stress.
Balance: If possible, try to select courses that have a balanced workload. For example, mix a more intensive course with one that’s less demanding.
Ask for Advice: Talk to other students who have taken these courses in the past. They might provide insights into what to expect and whether it’s realistic to take on three at once.
Stay Flexible: Be prepared to adjust if you find one class is taking significantly more time than you anticipated.
Ultimately, listen to your feelings about the workload as you go along, and don’t hesitate to reach out for help if you start feeling overwhelmed. Good luck with your courses!
