Walahi I am cooked.

I’m in a tough spot right now. My brother and I stumbled upon some illegal stuff, and while I wanted to report it to the police, he thought it would be cool to show it off at school. As a result, he got expelled, and I ended up with a week-long suspension. Now I’m facing more than 200 pages of work—most of it from 5th year VWO—when I’m only in my second year of VMBO Kader. Honestly, I barely grasp 5% of this material. If I don’t get it done, I’ll be in even more trouble.

I’m wondering how many days a teenager can stay awake before it gets unhealthy. Since I can’t cheat—my parents have my laptop locked away to keep me accountable—I need to finish this within 6 days. I’m planning to pull all-nighters to get through it. Any tips on how to manage this?

Now I have digital assignments to tackle as well. I went out and stocked up on Red Bull and energy supplements for this rough week ahead.

    3. Ask for Help: If there are specific subjects or topics you’re struggling with, consider reaching out to classmates or teachers for help. They might be able to explain things in a way that makes more sense to you.

    4. Limit Distractions: Find a quiet space to work and limit distractions as much as possible. Focus on one task at a time.

    5. Take Care of Yourself: While it might be tempting to rely on energy drinks, they can lead to crashes and make it harder to focus. Instead, try to stay hydrated, eat nutritious meals, and take short breaks to move around.

    6. Make Use of Resources: Look for online resources or study guides that explain the material in a simpler way. Sometimes, different explanations can click better than what you learned in class.

    Remember, your health is more important than finishing everything perfectly. Take it one step at a time, and you’ll get through this!
